The project: This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project. You’ll be responsible for: Oversee the general contractor’s procurement and delivery schedules for critical materials, equipment, and long-lead items, ensuring alignment with project milestones. Monitor the construction supervision consultant’s (CSC) tracking of supplier performance, logistics, customs clearance, and delivery assurance. Develop and maintain high-level dashboards and reports on procurement status, highlighting critical path items and potential bottlenecks for client review. Escalate risks related to delays, non-compliance, or supply chain disruptions, while recommending and tracking mitigation strategies. Facilitate coordination between the general contractor, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and proactive issue resolution. Support the project management team in resolving procurement-related disputes and challenges. Ensure timely delivery of key materials and equipment by proactively identifying risks and coordinating with logistics teams. Conduct regular performance reviews with contractors and suppliers to ensure procurement activities remain on track and aligned with project goals. You’ll need to have: Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval. Professional qualification (or equivalent). 15+ years of experience.
