Job Description We are looking for a Senior Process Expert for welding technologies, who will drive global production excellence through the development and continuous improvement of standardized equipment and processes. Ensure the planning, development, standardization, and implementation of production processes, equipment, and related procedures. Drive the development and release of standards for relevant equipment, processes, tools, systems, methods, and technologies. Ensure optimization of existing equipment and production processes, with strong focus on efficiency, cost effectiveness, and profitability. Ensure that standard times for all value-added and non–value-added process steps are available and maintained for use in WSD production processes. Develop the standard concept for end-to-end material flow within production facilities and value streams, collaborating closely with Value Chain Management to ensure synergies. Define standard equipment layouts according to LEAN principles, supporting plant and line layout design Support the development and implementation of the Production Management strategic roadmap. Contribute to the implementation of the global equipment strategy in collaboration with Production Equipment Management. Qualifications Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Mat. Science degree Strong background in Mechanical Engineering and Welding Technologies, with a Master’s degree or further education in Welding regarded as a plus. Very good command of English (written and spoken) – mandatory Continuous improvement mindset focused on quality, efficiency, and technology optimization Strong technical skills to understand, lead, and drive engineering projects, with a continuous improvement mindset focused on process optimization based on defined KPIs.
