From prospect generation to project execution your contributions will shape the future of energy. What are the daily tasks? Generate prospects using advanced seismic techniques and integrated petroleum geological evaluation in a timely and budget-conscious manner. Evaluate and interpret seismic data, plan new projects, and identify old data for reprocessing. Derisk prospects by applying depth conversion, mapping, and seismic tools to assess structural characteristics and fluid potential. Support operational decision-making during exploration well drilling and testing. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver regional studies and joint projects, share knowledge across exploration and other technical units. Support technical reporting, well evaluations, and business development aligned with MOL’s exploration strategy. Mentor and support team members with your expertise. Who we are looking for? Educational Background: You have a University or College degree in Geophysics, Geology or Geoscience. Professional Experience: Preferably 15+ years, but at least 10+ years of work experience within Exploration geology and geophysics in the oil and gas industry, Skills: Expert knowledge of siliciclastic, carbonate sedimentology and stratigraphy, hydrocarbon systems and in particular seismic interpretation, Petrophysical analysis, prospecting, drilling knowledge. Fluent in English both written and verbally. Hungarian knowledge is an advantage, Creative mindset, not afraid to bring ideas and make them possible, Teamwork with a result-oriented attitude, Proactivity with a problem solving mindset.
