JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and manufacturing processes, demonstrating expertise in various techniques and tools. This role involves working with metal components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process. The Senior Fabricator will play a crucial role in supporting production goals while mentoring junior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in metal fabrication within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication machinery.
  • Proficiency in operating a Brake Press for a job shop.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Knowledge of assembly processes and quality control measures within the fabrication industry.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment including press brake , mills , drills , saws and excellent knowledge of machine shop equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure precision in all work.
  • Perform rigging tasks safely when moving heavy materials or components using cranes or forklifts.
  • Conduct machining operations as required for specific projects.
  • Assemble fabricated parts into final products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize fabrication processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
