Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to support the delivery of a diverse and high-profile property portfolio across New South Wales. Working as the second-in-charge to the Contract Manager, this role combines operational oversight with strategic planning and relationship management. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to support service delivery, contract performance and continuous improvement across a varied portfolio. Key Responsibilities * Support the delivery of facilities management services across a diverse property portfolio. * Partner with the Contract Manager to maintain contract performance, service quality and financial outcomes. * Coordinate maintenance programs and service activities to support asset performance. * Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. * Support contract governance, reporting and continuous improvement activities. * Oversee subcontractor engagement and compliance requirements. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial administration. * Support the preparation of scopes of work, contract documentation and client reporting. * Promote safe work practices and compliance with legislative and BGIS requirements. * Participate in regular travel across the NSW portfolio and a shared after-hours on-call roster. Education, Experience & Skills Essential * Experience within Facilities Management, Property Management or integrated service environments. * Experience supporting complex property or maintenance portfolios. * Understanding of contract management, subcontractor coordination and service delivery. * Financial awareness, including budgeting and cost management. * Knowledge of maintenance practices, CMMS platforms and compliance requirements. * Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a variety of activities. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Desirable * Qualifications or further study in Facilities Management or a related discipline. * Experience working across geographically dispersed portfolios. * Knowledge of sustainability, asset lifecycle planning or environmental initiatives. * Experience within government or large corporate environments. Workplace Flexibility This permanent full-time position has a Sydney office base, with flexibility for hybrid or remote working within NSW. Regular travel across client sites / field presence forms part of the role, helping to build strong partnerships and support service delivery across the portfolio.
