REQUIREMENTS:

An Australian Citizen in order to comply with our Client’s requirement to obtain and gain relevant security clearance
Ability to relocate to New Delhi, India.
Tertiary qualification in Property/Real Estate (preferred or in progress) will be an added advantage
Sound property management experience in a complex or large-scale facilities
Strong financial acumen with budget management experience
Excellent client service, stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

JLL is the global property service provider for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The portfolio comprises approximately 1,000 properties (both owned and leased), across 100+ countries and includes Chanceries/Embassies and Residential properties.
We are seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead the strategic property management for DFAT’s New Delhi, India diplomatic compound. You oversee comprehensive property operations while providing strategic decision with upcoming capital projects.
You will be based on-site at the Australian Embassy in New Delhi, India and will also be managing remote satellite locations in Dhaka, Mumbai, Chennai, Colombo, Kolkata and Kathmandu.
The compound, which is owned by the Australian Government, is contained within a very large site of approximately five hectares. Buildings within the compound include the Chancery building, Head of Mission residence, detached staff housing, staff apartments and domestic staff accommodation. Amenities include tennis court, pool, barbeque areas, central water feature, large entertaining lawns and extensive landscaping throughout.

SNAPSHOT OF THE ROLES:

Serve as the primary contact and manage client relationships at senior levels
Lead strategic asset management for mixed-use diplomatic facilities
Oversee financial planning for major capital works
Direct maintenance programs to optimise asset lifecycles
Oversee the smooth operations of the facilities across soft services, facilities maintenance, management of capital works and administration.
