JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Senior Facilities Manager (SFM) is a key member of the Operations team, responsible for the strategic and operational management of the built environment across Greystar Ireland’s residential and student accommodation portfolio. The role encompasses oversight of all technical services, including planned and reactive maintenance, compliance and regulatory alignment, asset lifecycle management, and capital works delivery.
The SFM holds direct line management responsibility for all site-based technical staff including the Facilities Manager (Point Campus) and Lead Maintenance Technicians across the portfolio. While Community Managers (CMs) retain day-to-day operational leadership, the SFM ensures delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective facilities services. The SFM collaborates with CMs to support financial planning, compliance obligations, and service excellence, without burdening them with technical oversight responsibilities.
The role also plays a critical part in supporting Greystar’s corporate office and strategic growth in Ireland, contributing technical insight during acquisitions, managing mobilisation of new assets, and ensuring systems, contracts, and operational readiness align with Greystar standards.
