WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Senior Associate to support the company’s financial and accounting activities across multiple countries. This role is key to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial information while acting as a liaison between the company and external advisors. HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE?: Tax & Compliance (Spain Specific) Audit Review: Lead statutory and legal audit for the country by preparing documentation, providing technical explanations, and responding to auditor requests. VAT & SII Management: Perform the review of the SII (Suministro Inmediato de Información) and the preparation/filing of VAT (IVA) returns. Tax Reporting: Support the preparation of the tax models together with the tax advisors. Mainly Model 111 (withholdings) and Model 202 (Corporate Tax installments) External Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for external tax and accounting advisors, ensuring adherence to country-specific regulations. Financial Operations & Intercompany Commission Calculation: Calculate employee commissions accurately in line with company incentive schemes. Intercompany Reconciliation: Calculate and manage re-billing between group companies to ensure balance alignment. Accounts Payable & Treasury: Record, review, and process supplier invoices, ensuring correct allocation to cost centers. Payment Execution: Prepare and execute payment runs via banking platforms while maintaining proper approvals and controls. Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Expense Control: Review and validate employee expenses to ensure compliance with internal policies. Accounting & Reporting Closing Processes: Actively participate in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure the reliability of reported information. Adjustments & Accruals: Prepare and monitor accounting adjustments, including expense accruals, income deferrals, and provisions. Operational Support: Contribute to daily accounting operations and the maintenance of internal financial controls. Requirements At least 4 years of experience in a finance and accounting role Use of accounting ERP like Business Central (preferably) or SAP Strong proficiency in Excel High level of English (both written and spoken) Flexibility and ability to adapt to demanding and fast-changing environments Accounting knowledge under Spanish GAAP (PGC) and other GAAP frameworks is considered a plus Location Valencia, Valencia Department Accounting Employment Type Full Time Minimum Experience Mid-level
