Description

As a Senior Field Application Engineer, you will partner with automotive customers to guide system design and drive the adoption of Infineon solutions across a broad range of applications. You will collaborate cross-functionally to translate requirements into reliable designs, provide technical support and trainings, and help shape future product innovations. Contribute to the development of modern electronic systems and their implementation in the innovative automotive market Be the first level technical contact for key automotive customers in Germany, providing comprehensive support across their entire application landscape and enabling the integration of Infineon's full product portfolio Collaborate proactively with the European FAE team, Account Management, and product specialists from various Business Units to develop innovative solutions tailored to our customers' applications Be the expert for Infineon product solutions in automotive applications, support our customers in their system design phase and during the evaluation of our products Analyze and translate customer's application and product requirements to foster future Infineon's products Validate the application on-site together with the customer Prepare and execute customer presentations and product / application training Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Information Technology At least 1 year of professional experience in the semiconductor and automotive market Strong technical knowledge, competence, design experience on a system level in automotive applications, including analog products spanning sensors to low- and high-voltage power solutions Experience in hardware development, with proficiency in tools such as PSpice; thermal simulation experience is a plus Strong drive with proactive, autonomous working style; excellent collaboration and relationship-building capabilities; strong analytical and problem-solving skills Openness to regular business travel in Germany and, occasionally, other European destinations Fluent German and English communication and presentation skills We are on a journey to create the best Infineon for everyone.
