About the Role As a Senior Field Engineering, you’ll spearhead Tomorrow.io’s on-site technical operations for a high-profile, fast-moving global technology project. You’ll oversee the deployment, operation, and maintenance of Tomorrow.io’s weather systems, including radar and weather stations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and reliably across multiple international sites. What You’ll Do Lead and execute on-site technical teams during global operations. Manage the deployment, installation, calibration, operation, and disassembly of weather systems and radars Own installation, calibration, operations, and troubleshooting in the field Ensure technical readiness and uptime before, during, and after events. Handle field logistics, including transporting equipment, setup coordination, and on-site troubleshooting Coordinate logistics, equipment handling, and on-site technical teams Serve as the primary on-site point of contact during field activities Translate customer requirements into clear technical solutions and deployment plans Work with engineering, product, and meteorology teams to define configurations and integrations Support customer discussions, clarify system capabilities, and document solution designs Ensure deployed systems meet technical, operational, and customer needs Represent Tomorrow.io in the field with professionalism, precision, and technical excellence Work cross functionally to bring resolution to customer projects What You Bring BSc in Engineering (Electrical, Software, etc.) 4+ years of experience working in SaaS, B2B, customer facing role Strong hands-on experience with field systems, communications, or instrumentation deployment Hands-on, practical mindset, able to solve complex issues in dynamic conditions Ability to design solutions involving hardware, software, and data flows Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills in dynamic environments Proven leadership and coordination skills for managing small field teams Clear communication and customer-facing technical presentation abilities Independent, proactive, and resourceful, someone who gets things done Valid driver’s license and comfort managing logistics and equipment transport Frequent international travel, this is a core part of the role Prior experience in technical field operations, communications, or systems engineering (military or commercial) is a plus Join Tomorrow.io’s Global Field Team At Tomorrow.io, we’re transforming how the world understands and acts on weather.
