UL Solutions is searching for a HR Business Partner to support our managers and colleagues in the UK and Ireland.  Reporting to the Senior Manager, Field HR, the UK HR Business Partner serves as the primary local HR partner to the managers and employees in their assigned client group.   The HR Business Partner will acquire general understanding of local business divisions to support people strategies, enable talent development and improve retention at the local level. In consultation with senior HR colleagues or direct manager,  manages employee relations, performance management, compensation, and employee career development issues that require detailed knowledge of the fundamental concepts and practices in Human Resources. Responsible for working with HR colleagues and local business leaders to provide responsive approaches and drives adoption of HR initiatives locally. 
Responsibilities
The HR Business Partner supports managers and employees in the UK and Ireland by implementing people strategies and improving local retention. They manage employee relations, performance, and compensation while driving the adoption of global HR initiatives locally.
