Description:

The Senior Field Process Engineer will lead process engineering activities on a high-profile onshore oil and gas project in Abu Dhabi. This position requires extensive experience in the field, overseeing process design, optimization, troubleshooting, and commissioning. Familiarity with ADNOC standards and previous experience on ADNOC onshore or other major oil and gas projects in the Middle East is essential.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of field process engineering experience, with at least 5 years on ADNOC Onshore projects or other major oil and gas projects in the Middle East.
  • Extensive knowledge of process engineering, including separation, heat exchange, fluid dynamics, and chemical processing.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of process systems in oil and gas.
  • Strong understanding of P&IDs, PFDs, and other process-related engineering documentation.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (API, ASME) and ADNOC regulatory requirements related to process systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and client representatives.
  • Relevant certifications in process engineering or project management are a plus.
  • Must be immediately available to join.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all field process engineering activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements, ADNOC standards, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct process troubleshooting, optimization, and modifications to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Support the commissioning, start-up, and testing phases, including verifying process parameters, performance testing, and operational checks.
  • Provide technical support to contractors and subcontractors, ensuring quality control, compliance with project specifications, and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Review and approve engineering documentation, including P&IDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and operating procedures to confirm accuracy and project alignment.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integration of process systems within the project framework.
  • Conduct process inspections, performance assessments, and safety audits, ensuring HSE compliance and proper operational functionality.
  • Interface with client representatives and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and ensuring timely project execution.
  • Prepare and maintain field reports, inspection records, and other project documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for process-related tasks to maintain project timelines.
