JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and execute commercial growth in the German market. This is a key strategic, hands-on role focused on shaping our go-to-market strategy, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across sectors like construction, logistics, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial B2B sales background, a passion for sustainability, and a hands-on approach to field-based business development.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the Construction, Logistics & Supply Chain, Automotive, or Retail sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of plastic processing and the broader value chain (essential).
  • Strong capability in value-based selling and delivering tailored technical solutions.
  • Education: Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Chemical), ideally with relevance to the plastics sector.
  • Professional Experience: 10-15 years of commercial experience within industrial environments, preferably within plastic resins and injection moulding.
  • Languages: Native or full professional proficiency in German and fluency in English (C2 level) are essential.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively (minimum 50% of the time). A valid driver’s license is a must.

IDEAL PROFILE & IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • Please Note: This is not a team leadership role. We are seeking a hands-on Sales or Business Development Manager who will be actively in the field generating new business. We are not looking for Account Managers, Sales Directors focused on large-team management, or junior candidates. Profiles that do not match this hands-on, field-based requirement will be rejected.
  • Strong existing network within the German industrial market, particularly with injection moulding companies, is highly desirable.
  • Passion for field sales and direct customer engagement.
  • Persistent, proactive, and results-oriented with an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and proficient with CRM tools.
