Organizational Context and Scope Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Misson and close and   technical supervision of the Office of Staff Security (OSS) as represented by the Regional Security Officer (RSO) based in the Manila,  and the administrative supervision of Programme Officer- TRD /Head of Sub-Office (the Field Security Associate will be responsible for providing specialized support to enable IOM’s activities and assist the Programme Officer- TRD /Head of Sub-Office   with all aspects of security risk management.    The Field Security Associate will support the Chief of Mission (COM) in establishing and maintaining an appropriate an appropriate level of Security awareness, field level operational guidance and support implementation of field activities and movements accordance with the country specific security guidance and  Office of Staff Security (OSS) protocols The Office of Staff Security (OSS) is responsible for providing leadership on security policy management and Mission operational support to enable effective implementation and delivery of IOM programmes and activities, while managing security risks at acceptable levels.
Responsibilities
The Senior Field Security Associate provides specialized support to enable IOM activities and assists with all aspects of security risk management. They support the Chief of Mission in establishing security awareness and ensuring field activities comply with organizational protocols.
