POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, Solutions Engineering, the Senior Field Solutions Engineer (FSE) is a technical industry expert who drives software growth by developing technical and operational relationships with customers to support their adoption of Miovision’s solutions.
As a technical industry expert, the Senior FSE will integrate into the daily operations of agencies, supporting complex proof of concepts and ongoing initiatives to maximize product value and adoption. This role is specifically assigned to the Focus account segment, targeting the top 20 major North American cities. Within these accounts, this role focuses on expanding beyond the immediately available applications to provide a level of solutions architecture development with the agency. This expert will integrate with and influence the product roadmap by working closely with the product leaders to support large deal acceleration and smart city integrations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

This role is split across two key account segments: Direct Account Support (Focus Accounts) and Regional Focus Accounts.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency.
  • 8+ years of technical experience with a strong understanding of network products.
  • Ability to travel internationally for on-site client consulting.
  • Experience with general consulting skills, including team facilitation, business case development, business analysis, process mapping and redesign.
  • Strong systems implementation skills, including requirements analysis, conceptual design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.
  • An analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues.
  • Basic understanding of product development and engineering processes.
