Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in filmmaking, videography, and post-production.
• Proven experience in managing full production cycles for large-scale video projects, from concept to final delivery.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies, Film Production, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard tools. A deep understanding of color grading, sound mixing, and other post-production processes.
• Experience in directing crews, managing sets, and handling high-end production equipment.
• Strong knowledge of social media content creation and trends, especially video content optimized for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a creative team, setting clear expectations and helping others grow professionally.
• Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Arabic language skills are advantageous but not required

As a Senior Filmmaker, you will be expected to oversee and manage the entire filmmaking process, from pre-production through post-production. This includes the conceptualization, planning, execution, and final delivery of video content. You will serve as a leader, ensuring the successful management of video projects while maintaining the highest standards of creative and technical excellence.

• Lead end-to-end video production processes, including pre-production (storyboarding, scripting, planning), production (shooting, directing), and post-production (editing, final delivery).
• Ensure strong planning and organizational skills, working closely with clients and internal teams to clarify project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Have deep technical expertise in camera operation, lighting, sound, and video production equipment. Maintain and ensure the correct calibration and operation of all production equipment.
• Compose and deliver visually stunning, innovative, and compelling video and photographic content that aligns with the Hajjo brand and exceeds client expectations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them to avoid common mistakes and ensuring their work aligns with industry standards.
• Work closely with the creative team and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Oversee all aspects of post-production, including editing, sound design, color grading, and final output. Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in filmmaking, editing, and post-production techniques, ensuring the team remains innovative and competitive in the industry.
• Review and assess work to maintain consistency in quality, providing clear and constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensure familiarity with copyright regulations and licensing, ensuring proper use of music, stock footage, and other third-party assets.
• Be comfortable leading discussions with clients, managing expectations, and ensuring their vision is accurately reflected in the final product.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,500.00 per month
