Assessment Day – Friday 10th July (starting at 1:30pm) This will be a great chance to get to know more about the role, the team, and how you could grow your career with us. As part of the day, you can expect: * A presentation task where you’ll share your thinking and approach * A competency-based interview focused on your experience and potential * Time to meet members of the team and gain insight into life at M&S Finance * An opportunity to showcase your skills in a collaborative and welcoming environment What you’ll do Your key accountabilities will include: * Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting to support business performance and decision-making * Partner with commercial and central finance teams to provide clear, value-adding financial guidance * Lead and support initiatives to enhance the quality and depth of financial analysis and reporting * Contribute to month-end and year-end processes, ensuring strong controls and compliance * Identify and drive operational improvements to simplify, standardise, and strengthen finance outputs Who you are Your skills will include: * Strong analytical capability with the confidence to interpret data and communicate clear insights * Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems such as SAP or Blackline * Excellent business partner management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships * Ability to manage several priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment * Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), with an interest in using technology or AI to improve ways of working What’s in it for you?
