AT&R EMEAI Airlines is a $2B global business responsible for the aftermarket spare parts and repair and overhaul services in support of mechanical and electrical aircraft engines and components as well as wheels and brakes. This position will report to the Airlines EMEAI Finance Director, supporting the development and implementation of key business reporting initiatives and act as a main liaison between business managers and finance team on a number of key commercial contract specific topics – incentives, claims, etc., as well as provide direct business support to the Honeywell Aerospace Trading team as an integrated business partner. This position will be a key focal point within the Airlines finance team in the development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly Key Performance Indicator reports as well as presentation material for Management Reviews. As a liaison to multiple sites, the Airlines finance team, Airlines Business Leadership, Supply Chain, and Controllership, this role integrates the finance function and provides high value-added financial support to the business teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate team as a finance business partner to support attainment of Short-Range Outlook, Annual Operating Plan and STRAP (strategic planning) goals.
  • Standardize process of exposure evaluation and recording for customer claims, incentives, incomplete sales orders, etc.
  • Support Short-Range Outlook process by defining the impact of complex contract agreements, including incentives.
  • Weekly reporting on actuals and refreshed performance estimates.
  • Ensure Data Integrity for reporting systems and establish reconciliation and control process (SAP/PAD).
  • Main point of contact for Customer Business teams and AERO HQ in Phoenix with respect to customer incentives accounting, billings and credits.
  • Provide data gathering and support to contracts analysis for EMEAI Airlines Finance.
  • Global Controllership team liaison.
  • Complete Ad hoc reports and analysis on revenue, margin, order intake and other topics from operational and finance leadership.
  • Drive improvements in reporting and analytical tools across the business by leveraging systems and automation.
  • Improve and enforce internal controls framework.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related discipline.
  • 3 plus years of directly related accounting/finance experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and large amounts of data.
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities.
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SAP.
