    Myer is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst – Merchandise & Product to support the Commercial Finance Manager in delivering strategic financial advice, performance reporting and business case development. This role partners closely with key stakeholders to enable the financial success of the online business and drive the transformation of factory-to-customer operations. With a strong focus on commercial insights and value creation, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a vital role in shaping data-driven decisions that support growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
  • Provide business partnering, financial modelling and business case support on project investment requests to key stakeholders for the merchandise business unit, and reviews post implementation benefits to assess project effectiveness and communicates results
  • Provide full P&L financial support on commercial merchandise arrangements including online commercial arrangements
  • Analyse financial data and results to educate the merchandise business on the levers of success and opportunities to improve profitability to inform strategic decision making
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and analysis and assist with value add projects on day to day duties and processes
  • Delivery of merchandise performance reporting, metrics submissions and commentary for the Board & EGM, as required
  • Manage and collaborate with key stakeholders to build detailed budgets and forecasts for the merchandise business, as required
  • Undertake presentation of monthly results and forecasts to key stakeholders, and highlight key risks and opportunities, as required
