ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for analysing financial data and risks, creating and supporting financial models, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making to achieve business outcomes.
You will have experience in analysing big, complex data sets and will provide expert guidance to finance teams and leaders with month end performance reporting and analysis, support forecasting processes and ad hoc analysis to support business decision making that aligns with TAFE NSW priorities.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of, and experience working with finance systems for the purposes of creating insights and recommendations.
  • Strong analytic skills with demonstrated experience translating insights into implementable recommendations.
  • High-level stakeholder engagements skills, building trusted partnerships to optimise business outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with various internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise information
