Job Description
Job Summary
Turner & Townsend are seeking a Finance Assistant to support their delivery of works in Defence. The role sits within a fast-moving vibrant team that provide support to a range of projects and joint ventures. The individual will be a self-starter, who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and brings financial administration experience and excel capability.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • To carry out all financial administration related to Turner & Townsend Defence projects, in liaison with the Finance Manager
  • Coordinate collation of timesheets, project deliverables and client approvals to support invoicing
  • Chasing aged debts to ensure timely cash collection and reconciliation for all cash receipts
  • Assisting with financial/project queries from the Client and Suppliers
  • Supporting with Project creation, WIP, forecasting and project margin reviews
  • Administer and analyse large volumes of sales invoices with acute attention to detail
  • Filing and archiving financial documents
  • Supporting the Defence finance team with Ad-hoc tasks

Finance Degree or QBE within an equivalent Finance role

  • Immediate in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Good organisation skills that promote prioritising and meeting deadlines
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Experience in administrating large amounts of financial data
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 experience is a plu
