To further strengthen COWI’s international collaboration and activities within our foreign executing units (EUX) we are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, role model COWI’s values, and safeguard compliance while driving financial performance across regions. You will be an integral part of our finance organization, comprising approximately 250 employees who ensure the financial backbone of COWI. The role reports to the Head of Business Finance, UK and International, Bjørn Sætterstrøm and your work location will be from our headquarters in Lyngby.

The first step to thrive in this role is that you are motivated by collaborating closely with senior leaders, helping them make sound decisions through clear financial insights. You feel comfortable balancing performance goals with compliance needs, and you’re at ease navigating different cultures and a variety of stakeholders in an international setting.

On top of that, you will have:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior finance business partnering or leadership roles
  • Proven ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape and build strong partnerships
  • Strong intercultural understanding and experience working in international environments
  • Excellent analytical skills, business acumen, and courage to influence decision-making
  • Collaborative individual with integrity, purpose, and a strategic mindset
Responsibilities
  • Advise business Senior Vice President and Managing Directors in Korea, Singapore, Oman and Germany on performance, forecasts, budgets, KPIs, and risks and opportunities
  • Ensure financial transparency and accurate financials
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders in the business and in partnering functions to ensure efficient and effective collaboration
  • Ensure a holistic approach to compliance and integration of all regions of international activities into COWIs framework
  • Ensure a holistic approach to finance support in the EXU including all finance employees
