We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Business Partnering team on a 12 month fixed-term basis. You will provide financial leadership, insight, and decision support to operational teams, driving performance and ensuring alignment with Eurostar’s strategic objectives. You will partner with operational business functions with direct and indirect accountability across revenues, costs, and capex totalling hundreds of millions of euros. This role is based at our offices in Kings Cross with hybrid working.

We’re looking for someone to:

  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and budget reporting for business areas, ensuring accuracy, IFRS compliance, and actionable insight.
  • Proactively challenge performance, manage risks, and prepare robust business cases for capital expenditure. Identify opportunities to optimise costs and support strategic initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments, translating financial information into clear, actionable guidance. Champion financial governance and work collaboratively to mitigate risks and drive efficiencies.
  • Support a high-performance environment, coaching and developing others, balancing priorities, and leading by example with resilience and emotional intelligence.
  • Line manage one direct report, fostering development and high performance. Support a collaborative working environment, balancing priorities, and leading with resilience and emotional intelligence.

REQUIREMENTS

You’ll need:

  • Expertise in managing others (coaching, development, performance management, delegation, prioritising workloads.
  • Internationally recognised professional accountancy qualification (or part-qualified) or university equivalent.
  • Experience in partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver tangible business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning expertise
  • Expertise in influencing others both within and outside of Finance and across countries.
  • Attention to detail while maintaining a strategic, holistic perspective.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • French is a desirable attribute not a core requirement for this role.
