In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Product leadership team, Executive Committee and Board with high-quality insight, forecasting and performance reporting that drives sound commercial decisions. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role suited to an experienced finance professional with a strong understanding of mortgage and lending economics, including volumes, pricing, margin, EIR, NIM and balance-sheet dynamics. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex financial drivers into clear, decision-ready insight. The role can be based from Wolverhampton, London or Chatham with occasional travel between offices. What you will be doing? As Senior Finance Business Partner for Lending, you will: Own monthly performance reporting for the Lending business, covering P&L, balance sheet and key value drivers, with clear actuals vs forecast analysis and commercially focused commentary. Lead annual budget, rolling forecast and strategic planning processes for the Lending business using Anaplan, building driver-based, scenario-led forecasts aligned to lending volumes, margins and risk. Develop and continuously improve financial models and MI, reducing manual effort while increasing analytical depth and insight quality. Deliver high-impact modelling and analysis using Excel and Anaplan, including scenario modelling, sensitivities, pricing and margin analysis, and investment business cases. Act as a trusted senior partner to the Lending Product team - challenging assumptions, translating financial complexity into commercial language, and supporting trade-off decisions. Provide Executive and Board-level insight, with concise narratives that link financial outcomes to underlying business drivers. What's in it for you? High-profile role at the heart of a core Lending franchise. Opportunity to shape forecasting, modelling and insight across the business.
