JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures;
• Identify project budget and schedule;
• Monitor, coordinate and control projects;
• Payment transactions (supplier payments and payments for employee expenses);
• accounts receivable (invoicing the customer and tracking of incoming payments);
• Control and reconciliation of general ledger and subledger accounts;
• Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (HGB and IFRS);
• Optimization of internal financial processes and the reporting and controlling system;
• Carrying out financial postings and financial controls for turnover and costs;
• Support in the forecasting and budget process;
• Communication and collaboration with internal and external partners in all accounting matters;
• Assistance in the preparation and submission of local tax audits and tax returns.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in accounting in an international environment;
• You have previously completed a degree in economics with a focus on finance and accounting or a comparable qualification;
• Knowledge of local German GAAP and tax knowledge
• You are familiar with working with Excel and accounting systems;
• You enjoy working in a team and have no problems communicating in English in a dynamic and international environment;
• This position requires a high degree of responsibility, reliability and attention to detail;
