Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Oversee and ensure the timely review all general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of financial accounting and related systems.
  • Facilitate the collection of financial and accounting information and the preparation of budgets, reports, forecasts and consolidated profit and loss reports.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and monitoring of up-to-date or computerized accounting and administrative systems.
  • Provide financial information and interpretations to other management.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Behave consistently with CCHS corporate values in all dealings with internal and external customers
  • Responsible for all the Account transactions.
  • Ensure all approved surplus invoices are entered in system
  • Ensure all internal controls and accounting policies and procedures are adhered.
  • Oversee the bank payment process and ensure proper authorization and control.
  • Ensure Petty Cash are properly reconciled and audited regularly.
  • Data entry on approved general journals to the accounting system.
  • Accountable to settle all cash advances or deposit if any given to the operations, subcontractors or suppliers.
  • Ensure Creditors reconciliation are completed monthly and action taken to ensure no long outstanding invoices.
  • To ensure data and records are kept and filing up to date
  • Produce professional quality reports, presentations and briefs
  • Other additional functions, tasks and duties which your superior may notify you from time to time, either verbally or in writing

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
  • 3 years to 5 years 1 of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably candidate specialized in account field or equivalent.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ethical approach to practice, well-groomed with a pleasant personality
  • Positive attitude, passionate about collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Able to work long hours or to do shift work as and when required.
