Job Summary The Senior Finance Executive will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting for assigned entities. This role ensures the integrity of financial data, maintains regulatory compliance (including the latest e-Invoicing standards), and provides meaningful financial analysis to support the Group Financial Controller. Job Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Manage the full spectrum of accounts, including month-end closing and the timely preparation of management accounts and financial analysis reports. Treasury & Cash Flow: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable aging to optimize working capital. Transaction Management: Oversee daily financial operations, including transaction recording, asset registration, and the processing of supplier invoices and payment vouchers. Tax & Compliance: Prepare monthly/quarterly tax computations and liaise with tax agents for annual submissions and estimations. e-Invoicing Lead: Manage and ensure full compliance with LHDN e-Invoice requirements, including the issuance, validation, and monitoring of digital records. Inter-company Oversight: Resolve inter-company reconciliations, settlements, and dispute resolutions across the group. Audit & Statutory Support: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure statutory compliance. Process Improvement: Participate in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and internal control policies. Credit Control: Issue monthly debtor statements, monitor overdue accounts, and coordinate collection efforts to minimize credit risk. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA). Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, preferably within a PLC or manufacturing environment. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MFRS/IFRS, Malaysian tax regulations, and hands-on experience with LHDN e-Invoicing guidelines. Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis. Attributes: High level of integrity, detail-oriented, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, auditors, and tax agents.
