Purpose of the role To provide an effective and efficient finance transactional support to the UK finance team, delivering a high level of service with company and legal requirements. This role will also involve supporting on specific finance projects and tasks. Management Accounting & Reporting Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including revenue reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, and journal postings. Support monthly variance analysis and provide insightful commentary. Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making. Support the preparation of statutory filings. Liaise with internal departments to gather financial information and resolve queries. Process Improvement & Audit Support Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and systems. Support audit processes by preparing schedules and responding to auditor queries. Assist with the year-end audit process and manage the archiving system. Compile ad-hoc reports and analysis as required. General Act as a cultural ambassador for the region, promoting finance initiatives and activities via social media and internal channels. Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems, practices, and policies. Provide cover for team members during absences. Add and maintain project and task codes in the timesheet system. Undertake ad-hoc duties and project work as required.
