Location: Mississauga, ON (Airport Rd & Steeles Ave)
Work Arrangement: In-person - Monday to Friday (Not a Hybrid role)
Central Machinery & Metals is a processor of industrially generated scrap metal, providing advanced recycling infrastructure and logistical services to corporations across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Finance & General Accounting Lead with strong administrative skills to join our Finance team and contribute to both the strategic and day-to-day success of our operations.

• Perform general accounting duties including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
• Ensuring monthly deadlines are met.
• Collaborate directly with the Secretary-Treasurer and Senior Business Partners and external accountants.
• Participate in continuous improvement and system optimization projects
• Assist with day-to-day office operations (ordering supplies, coordinating vendors, etc.)
