Overview Microsoft is at a pivotal point to accelerate customer adoption of AI and Business Solutions (ABS) and Security across the US Public Sector industries. As organizations advance their digital transformation journeys, embracing AI innovation and secure cloud platforms. This role is accountable for driving end to end transformation and execution in the field across the ABS and Security portfolios. It partners closely with Sales Enablement & Operations, STU, and Finance teams to influence execution and scale insights. The role blends rhythm-of-the-business (RoB) activities with strategic analytics to inform decision-making and measure impact. The Finance Manager will assess pipeline creation and conversion, monitor business health, identify whitespace opportunities, and deliver analytical recommendations and investment strategies to accelerate reveue. Collaboration across Americas Finance and MCAPS Core Finance will be essential to scale insights and drive broader impact. Success in this role requires curiosity, a strong sense of ownership, and a passion for enabling intelligent business solutions Responsibilities Prioritize Support rhythm of the business across all the stakeholders with efficiency and effectiveness Drive understanding of business health through deep analytics and incorporating industry & customer level insights Provide actionable insights to the business to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results Support CFO forecast and budgeting process to land growth commitments with clear assumptions and drivers. Understand and manage business risk Partnership Communicate results and insights to senior leadership in a compelling and crisp manner with deep understanding of the business Drive actions with stakeholders to achieve business goals including revenue generation, resource allocation, and investment decisions through close collaboration Lead on-going efforts to develop and evolve our insights framework with key partners across finance and business to stay up to date with the business need and land growth opportunity Protect Ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes; drives corrective measures. Consults with business partners on sharing financial information, approved Qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience. Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
