Description

Here's what you'll do with us:

  • Responsibility for the governance of Group Performance Management, including the definition and further development of group-wide control logics, controlling processes, and reporting standards.
  • Responsibility for group-wide management reporting and the continuous development of the reporting landscape with regard to transparency, meaningfulness and management relevance. 
  • Management and coordination of regular reporting to Group Management, Executive Committee and Shareholders, including ensuring the highest quality, consistency and governance standards.
  • Preparation of meaningful analyses, management presentations and decision documents for the Group CFO, the Executive Board and the shareholders
  • Coordination of budget, forecast and medium-term planning processes at group level in close cooperation with the business units and corporate functions.
  • Analysis of the financial performance of the business units, identification of opportunities, risks and value drivers, and derivation of concrete recommendations for action. Actively challenging the business units and their finance organizations.
  • Independent management of strategic controlling and finance initiatives as well as cross-functional transformation and standardization projects.
  • Close collaboration with Group Accounting, Treasury, Tax, M&A and the Finance teams of the Business Units to ensure integrated corporate management.
  • Further development of reporting, planning and control processes with regard to best practices, digitalization and potential future requirements of a capital market-oriented company



This is what we expect from you:

  • Several years of professional experience in group controlling, performance management or corporate finance, ideally in an international and decentralized corporate environment; experience in a private equity environment or in management consulting is an advantage.
  • A sound understanding of management reporting, shareholder reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial corporate management.
  • Experience in creating target-group-oriented management and executive presentations, as well as in preparing complex financial information for top management and investors.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a confident handling of financial key figures, KPI systems and modern BI and planning solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to constructively challenge management, CFOs and business units as sparring partners on an equal footing and to actively support change processes.
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented work style with strong implementation skills and the ambition to continuously develop reporting and control instruments.
  • High digital affinity and experience in the introduction or further development of modern reporting, BI and controlling solutions.
