Description
About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team on a 6-month fixed term contract based in Sydney. This is a highly visible opportunity to step into a pivotal Group level role, make an immediate impact, and work closely with senior leaders during a critical period for the business. Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A and partnering with another Senior Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of a fast-paced reporting function that underpins executive decision-making and drives performance across the Group. This role offers variety, influence, and challenge — spanning monthly Group reporting, the Annual Business Plan, biannual external market reporting, and ad hoc commercial insights that respond to evolving priorities. Your work will be seen, valued, and relied upon. What You’ll Be Doing Lead the Group consolidation, analysis, and monthly reporting process, delivering clear, insightful commentary on performance and key business drivers. Manage and support FP&A team members (internal and outsourced), while remaining hands on with critical reporting submissions. Drive delivery of the annual Operational Plan, including 5 year financial forecasts and Board level reporting. Oversee year-end external market reporting and partner with Investor Relations to support analyst and investor engagement. Review Group Treasury forecasts and credit metrics, applying strong capital management expertise. Contribute to ongoing Finance Transformation and systems initiatives. Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the Group and provide guidance and coaching to FP&A team members. About You: CA or CPA qualified, with 5+ years’ post qualification experience in Management Reporting and/or FP&A. Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager, or a high performing Finance Manager ready to step up. Exposure to capital management or experience within one of Lendlease’s operating segments will be highly regarded. Strong analytical and data visualisation skills, with the ability to distil complexity into clear, actionable insights. Advanced capability across financial systems (Oracle Fusion, TM1) and Excel. A hands on, delivery focused mindset, with the confidence to operate at pace and influence senior stakeholders. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior FP&A professional who enjoys stepping into complex environments, adding value quickly, and working at Group level. You’ll be trusted with responsibility, exposed to senior leadership, and given the scope to make a meaningful impact over the contract period.
