About the Role:The focus of the role is on the financial and commercial performance of the site.You’ll be responsible for bringing together financial insight, operational understanding and business priorities, while working closely with both local and international teams.

  • This includes:Supporting the site leadership team on key financial and commercial decisions
  • Driving financial performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Challenging performance gaps and helping develop practical improvement plans
  • Supporting planning, forecasting, reporting and benchmarking activities
  • Working with finance teams based both locally and internationally
  • Supporting investment decisions and wider strategic topics
  • Helping develop finance capability across the organisation


  • Must-Have Skills:Strong experience in commercial finance, controlling, FP&A or finance business partnering
  • Experience within manufacturing, production, energy, chemicals, refining or another complex industrial environment
  • A background working closely with Plant, Site or Operations leadership
  • Experience improving financial or operational performance
  • Strong stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge senior colleagues when needed
  • Experience working in an international or matrix organisation
  • Fluent German and English
