In this versatile position, you will work closely with the CFO and be responsible for financial analysis, budget planning, reporting, and the management and settlement of sales commissions.

Your tasks

• Active support of the CFO in financial and business management matters
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and analysis of plans, forecasts and business results for management and the group
• Assistance in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets
• Supporting the sales, IT, product management and legal departments with financial analyses and controlling topics.
• Close collaboration with international corporate contacts in the area of ​​commission accounting.
• Creation and maintenance of commission models and calculation templates for various business units.
• Preparation and analysis of sales and distribution data as a basis for monthly and quarterly commission statements.
• Performing commission calculations, including handling special cases, corrections and adjustments.
• Obtaining necessary approvals for commission payments in cooperation with the specialist departments, management and HR.
• Preparation of commission statements and provision of relevant information for payroll accounting.
• Creation and distribution of commission statements to the respective business units
• Maintenance and analysis of headcount data, as well as the creation of regular personnel cost and headcount reports.
• Creation and analysis of CRM reports to identify completed sales activities
• Support with pricing, business cases and profitability analyses
• Conducting KPI analyses and creating reports, statistics and ad-hoc evaluations
• Participation in cross-departmental finance and optimization projects
• Contact person for questions and clarification of issues relating to sales commissions and compensation models

What you bring with you

• Successfully completed studies in business administration, economics with a focus on finance, controlling or accounting, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in finance, controlling, accounting or a comparable analytical function
• Excellent Excel skills and sound experience in the analysis, preparation and interpretation of complex data structures and large data sets.
• Experience in the development, optimization, and automation of financial models, ideally using macros or similar tools.
• Solid knowledge of ERP, CRM and reporting systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase or SAP
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to derive clear recommendations for action from complex data.
• A structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to work, coupled with high quality standards and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to independently set priorities in a dynamic environment and to drive several topics forward in a targeted manner simultaneously.
• Convincing communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and trustingly with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the company.
• High level of initiative, a strong hands-on mentality, and the willingness to tackle operational challenges with the same dedication as strategic issues.
• Experience in the continuous optimization of processes, structures and working methods, as well as the motivation to actively shape changes.
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
