Overview Join Security finance to play an integral role in shaping the future of Microsoft’s Security business. Security is at an inflection point as the world shifts to hybrid work, digital transformation accelerates, and attack sophistication increases and there is a growing need for operational resiliency as we continue to scale the Security business. The Security Financial Planning & Analytics team serves as a trusted financial advisor to the Security business, providing rigor around financial performance, financial outlook, and analytics to guide strategy, optimize resource allocation, and improve business outcomes. Our work encompasses monthly close insights, forecasting/planning, usage reporting, data governance, and more. The Security analytics role will be responsible for detailed performance analysis on multiple business health indicators across our major products to provide meaningful, clear and actionable insights that’ll inform near term and long-term strategic decision making. You’ll partner with multiple teams to drive focus on the most crucial decisions that’ll foster business growth. Responsibilities Responsibilities Own performance management for security products, including actuals vs. plan/forecast analysis, scenario analysis, and other trend analytics Develop and maintain financial models, KPIs, and reporting to support executive decisionmaking. Prepare and deliver concise, insightdriven financial narratives and recommendations to finance and business leadership. Embody Microsoft’s culture and values Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience. This role follows a hybrid work model and is based in Redmond, Washington. Employees are expected to work on-site in Redmond on a regular, recurring basis in alignment with business and team needs. Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
