Description
Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the quality, integrity and timeliness of financial outcomes across a key business division and associated entities.
Provide senior-level financial leadership and commercial business partnering to executives and senior stakeholders.
Act as a trusted adviser on financial, commercial and strategic matters.
Lead the financial oversight of complex trust, funding and securitisation structures.
Provide technical accounting guidance and resolve complex accounting matters.
Lead audit planning, issue resolution and liaison with external auditors and advisers.
Provide financial input into new and existing funding and transaction structures.
Oversee regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
Prepare and present financial analysis and reporting to senior management, boards and committees.
Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisers, trustees, funders and other external stakeholders.
Lead, develop and mentor finance team members, including offshore resources.
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, controls and automation.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability across the finance function.
Work closely with the Group Head of Finance and CFO on broader finance initiatives and projects.
Progressively take on additional responsibilities across the wider Group as demonstrated capability develops.
About YouWe are seeking a CA/CPA-qualified finance professional with significant experience in a complex financial services, lending, funds management or similarly regulated environment.You will ideally have:8+ years' experience across accounting and finance, with experience operating at a senior level.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and sound professional judgement.
Experience working with complex entities, trusts, funding structures or securitisation vehicles.
A strong understanding of financial controls, governance and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior executives.
Strong commercial acumen and an ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
Experience leading and developing finance teams.
A track record of improving processes and implementing robust financial controls.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Experience within lending, private credit, asset management, funds management, securitisation or broader financial services would be highly regarded.
