About the Role We’re recruiting a Senior Manager Commercial Finance – Retail to join our Domestic Commercial Finance leadership team at Saputo Dairy Australia. This is a senior commercial partnering role, working closely with the General Manager of Retail, with accountability for shaping commercial decisions across our largest retail customers. The role exists to strengthen forward‑looking insight and forecast accuracy, enabling clearer foresight, trajectory and value‑based decision‑making across the Retail business. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance – Domestic, this role leads a team of Commercial Finance Business Partners and Analysts aligned to the Retail Sales structure. You will work closely with Retail leadership, Revenue Management, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure the business has the right plans and insights to support effective decision‑making. This is not a purely strategic or purely analytical role. It requires a leader who can operate confidently at the senior table, while also lifting capability, improving financial acumen, and establishing a strong cadence of commercial insight across the Retail business. Key Responsibilities Lead the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the Retail Sales function, with a strong focus on forecast accuracy and forward‑looking insight Act as a trusted commercial partner to the General Manager of Retail, influencing decisions through clear analysis, insight and commercial judgement Lead, develop and uplift a team of Commercial Finance Business Partners and Analysts, embedding strong business partnering capability Partner closely with Revenue Management on BAU pricing, and own the translation of pricing and commercial initiatives into clear P&L and performance impacts Establish strong cadence and commercial storytelling with Retail leadership, providing insight into trends, risks, opportunities and future trajectories About You Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in commercial finance, business partnering or performance‑focused roles within FMCG or complex commercial environments CA / CPA qualified, with strong commercial acumen and financial judgement Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate as a trusted thought partner Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams with varying capability levels Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on insight, problem solving and execution Strong communicator, able to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight What We Offer A senior commercial finance leadership role with direct influence on Retail performance Exposure to large‑scale customer portfolios and complex commercial decision‑making Opportunity to shape how commercial finance partners the Retail business in a clearly defined end‑state structure Strong visibility across senior commercial and finance leadership Click “Apply for this job” to submit your application.
