Xbox Game Studios is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Stategy & Analytics to lead high-visibility strategic initiatives across its portfolio of world-class studios. As a key member of the Gaming Finance team, you will work cross-functionally to evaluate new business models, support studio investments, and drive financial planning for strategic programs. Responsibilities Strategic Initiative Support Lead financial planning and analysis for strategic projects, including new product launches, studio investments, and partnership evaluations. Develop business cases and ROI models to support executive decision-making. Partner with studio leadership and business development teams to assess financial impact of new initiatives. Business Environment Analysis Analyze the financial impact of internal organizational changes, including shifts in operating models, resource allocations, and studio priorities. Monitor external industry trends—such as platform shifts, monetization models, and dynamics—and assess their implications for Xbox Game Studios. Translate macroeconomic and market developments into actionable insights for studio leadership and finance partners. Cross-Studio Collaboration Coordinate across Xbox Game Studios to align financial strategies with portfolio goals. Support long-range planning and scenario modeling for emerging opportunities. Drive consistency in financial reporting and forecasting across strategic programs. Financial Leadership & Insights Deliver executive-level reporting and insights on strategic project performance. Identify risks and opportunities across initiatives and recommend mitigation strategies. Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Business Planning to ensure alignment and compliance. Process & Systems Optimization Enhance financial tools and processes to support agile decision-making. Lead efforts to automate reporting and improve data accessibility for strategic programs. Other Embody our culture and values Qualifications Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience partnering with stakeholders to influence decisions, build trust, and drive collaborative outcomes, demonstrated through successful delivery of projects or initiatives. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of experience in data analysis and financial modeling, including experience working with financial systems and tools. 3+ years of experience delivering high-value, high-impact projects through both individual contributions and cross-functional team collaboration. Experience in strategic finance, or consulting. Experience in gaming, entertainment, or technology industries preferred. Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
