About the role We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Financial/ Senior Specialist reporting to join our HQ Finance team based in Taipei. This role plays a key role in managing overseas subsidiary accounting, cost closing, and budget management, while ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies in a multinational environment. Task of the role Own financial reporting and month-end closing for overseas subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and IFRS compliance. Manage cost closing and allocation processes, including accruals and intercompany charges. Support budget planning, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analysis for overseas entities. Coordinate statutory audits and prepare audit-ready supporting documentation. Drive continuous improvement in accounting and reporting processes. Lead or support ad hoc finance projects as assigned by the manager. About you [Essential] Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4), with exposure to multinational or overseas clients. Solid working knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience in financial reporting. Experience managing or reviewing overseas subsidiary accounting and cross-border financial matters. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders. Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Google Suite is a plus. [Nice to have] Industry experience in addition to audit firm background. Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle). CPA certification. #L1-RL
