SENIOR FINANCE & TAX ANALYST

Seeking an experienced Senior Finance & Tax Analyst in Topeka, KS. This key role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including investment transactions, cash flow, valuations, commissions, suspense accounts, and tax reporting. This is a full-time direct hire position. $72k annually.

SENIOR FINANCE & TAX ANALYST JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-7 years’ experience in tax reporting/reconciliation
• Advanced Excel skills; Oracle PeopleSoft and SOVOS a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in banking is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities

• Prepare and deliver financial and tax reports for clients
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor and balance state and federal tax withholdings
• Investigate tax variances related to policyholder distributions
• Maintain and update tax data systems
• Support client implementations and conversions
• Assist with training and system testing
• Prepare Forms 1099, W-2, 1042, and Puerto Rico forms
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, tax authorities, and vendors
• Research and resolve compliance issues
