Tasks

• You create transparency regarding infrastructure, platform, cloud and XaaS costs and make cost developments comprehensible for IT, management and specialist departments.
• You will further develop our FinOps and IT cost management framework and establish clear standards, processes and governance structures.
• You identify cost drivers and optimization potentials in a targeted manner and derive concrete measures, such as rightsizing, usage optimization, license optimization or cost allocation.
• You create business cases, profitability analyses and decision-making templates for new IT services, technologies and investments.
• You support budget planning, forecasts and investment decisions with reliable data, KPIs, reports and dashboards.
• In collaboration with IT, controlling, purchasing, compliance, specialist departments and external partners, you assess the financial impact of technical decisions.

Requirements profile

Profile

• You have a completed degree in business informatics, computer science, economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in IT cost management, IT controlling, cloud cost management, FinOps, IT financial management or in a comparable interface function sets you apart.
• You are familiar with modern IT infrastructures, cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and IT service models.
• Budget planning, forecasting, profitability analyses, business cases and data-based reports are part of your professional repertoire.
• A structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as strong communication skills, initiative and very good German language skills (both spoken and written) complete your profile.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the critical infrastructure (KRITIS) environment is advantageous
