The Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a 3-month contract role based in Sydney, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can hit the ground running and add immediate value across reporting, audit, and compliance. Key requirements of this role are: Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports (AASB & IFRS) Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journals Lead and coordinate the external audit process Ensure compliance with BAS, GST, FBT, and corporate tax Maintain and improve internal controls and processes Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting About You Strong experience in financial reporting and external audit Solid knowledge of AASB and IFRS Experience with Australian tax compliance Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Preferred CA/CPA qualified with minimum 3 years of PQE Background in Big 4 or Tier 2 audit and tax compliance Experience in medium to large organisations Immediately available The Details Salary on offer is $30 - $35 per hour + super Expectation to come to the North Sydney office 3 days per week Immediate start, three month contract with possibility of extension
