Business Unit: American Honda Finance Corp Division: Finance & Administration Division Work Location: Torrance - Main Campus Location Career Level: 4 Salary Range: $81,800.00 - $122,700.00 Job Purpose EX3 – Senior Financial Accountant The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in producing consolidated financial results using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting for AHFC. In addition to being the administrator of the HFM system, this position facilitates monthly general ledger close meetings and presents financial results to AHFC Management. The Senior Accountant prepares monthly and quarterly BOFC (AHFC’s parent’s reporting system) schedules, performs detailed analysis of monthly actuals, and supports the preparation and review of quarterly footnotes for audited financial statements filed with the SEC. This role also includes preparing audit and tax schedules for both internal and external auditors, conducting general ledger and bank account reconciliations, and ensuring the integrity of financial data across the organization. Key Accountabilities Key Accountabilities will include but not be limited to: Produce consolidated financial results using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). As HFM System Administrator, maintain HFM to meet business and compliance requirements. Prepare audit and tax schedules for HM and external auditors, GL account & bank account reconciliations Prepare monthly and quarterly BOFC schedules Analyze and present financial results to AHFC Management and conduct monthly financial close meetings.
