Senior Financial Accountant - Financial Services

6-month contract | Potential to extend | Immediate start

An established financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join its busy finance team. This is an initial six-month contract with the potential to become permanent.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare regulatory returns and reporting
• Complete month-end journals and reconciliations
• Prepare VAT returns
• Manage fixed assets and lease accounting
• Support month-end and year-end reporting
• Work accurately within a high-volume environment
• Assist with process improvements and ad hoc finance projects

About you:

• CA/CPA Qualified 
• Financial services experience is highly desirable
• Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
• Advanced Excel capabilities
• SQL knowledge would be an advantage
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Available to commence immediately
