• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with [HGB and IFRS] and internal policies
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Support statutory reporting, tax filings, and compliance with local and international regulations
• Drive improvements and standardisation in accounting processes, controls, and documentation by collaborating with the segment and group finance teams
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed
• Ensure accurate accounting for fixed assets, prepayments, intercompany transactions, etc
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support business initiatives
