  An exciting opportunity now exists for a driven and commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant to join their Sydney-based finance team and play a key role in their next phase of growth

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, lease and occupancy accounting, and compliance. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across the business.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the month-end close and preparing accurate management reports
• Supporting seasonal budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing quarterly tax packs, monthly BAS, and assisting with statutory reporting
• Managing the fixed asset register, occupancy journals, rent tracking, and lease reconciliations
• Partnering with the Property Manager to support new leases, renewals, and refurbishments
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS/AASB16, and supporting internal controls and audit readiness
• Supporting and mentoring junior finance team members
