ONCALL SACARE is currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our SA team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial reporting, compliance, and accounting functions of the organization.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance and analysis.
• Lead or assist in internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring documentation is complete and compliant.
• Maintain compliance with statutory obligations, including tax returns, BAS/GST, FBT, and payroll tax.
• Oversee payroll accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll accruals.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Develop and maintain internal control procedures and financial policies.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and stay updated on changes in accounting standards.
• Support system improvements and finance-related projects, including ERP implementations or upgrades.
