$120,000 - $125,000 + Super + 10% Bonus

North West Sydney | Hybrid Working - 3 Days in Office

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant. This is a newly created position reporting directly to the Finance Director. Take ownership of key finance activities providing broad exposure across financial accounting, reporting, tax, forecasting and business partnering.

The Role

You will take ownership of a broad range of financial accounting and commercial responsibilities, including:

• Managing month-end and year-end close processes
• Preparing financial and management reporting
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining financial controls
• Managing tax compliance and supporting external audits
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and supporting working capital management
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes

About You

We are looking for a CA/CPA qualified accountant with strong technical accounting experience and a proactive approach to process improvement.

You will ideally have:

• CA/CPA qualification with strong financial reporting and month-end experience
• Experience across financial accounting, tax, reconciliations and compliance
• Strong ERP experience, with SAP highly desirable
• Strong Excel skills
• A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on controls and processes
• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
