JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of budgeting, account reconciliation, and proficiency in accounting software.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is essential.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, accounts receivable management, and account reconciliation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Oversee accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
  • Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate processing of employee compensation.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
  • Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
