Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Financial Accountant reports to the CFO and plays an important role in shaping the business.
This role requires flexibility, due to the size of the business and the dynamic nature of the workload within the finance team.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Providing leadership within the finance team and the greater organisation
  • Overseeing the Accounts Payable function including managing an onshore and offshore resource
  • Working with the team to provide accurate, timely and informative end of month (EOM) reports across all business brands
  • Providing analysis and insights into EOM results including all business drivers
  • Assistance with the preparation and maintenance of the annual budget and recurring forecast
  • Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are complete and accurate
  • Managing the annual audit process and the resultant production of financial statements
  • Maintaining the cashflow model to ensure cash is available for payments to staff, suppliers, loan payments and acquisitions
  • Managing the calculation and payment of quarterly licence fees to contracted partners
  • Providing guidance and support to the organisation for purchasing practices, corporate cards and other matters essential in maintaining best practice and smooth operations
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements across the entire Finance department
